Well.... Hi there! My name is Squishy, and no, I'm not the jellyfish from Finding Nemo. I get that a lot; to be honest it's quite annoying. I mean, I'm a Clown Triggerfish! I should never have been given such an absurd name, but parents love to ridicule their children. Don't even get me started on the fact that I'm a 'Clown' Triggerfish.

Despite my parents and the idiotic scientists that named my species, I'm a feisty little girl. One time I ripped a fish bag open while it was acclimating and - let's not get into that. I'll just say that that particular fish is no longer in this aquarium.
Finding tank mates for me is definitely a challenge; if you dip your fingers in the tank, I'll bite them! Not because I'm saying 'hello' like you humans might think, but because I don't like you, and you're in my territory. *rawr*

Now, onto my 'minion'. Burke is a Black Saddleback Clownfish that I let live, for a price. I protect him from the other predators in the tank, and in return he makes sure that I get enough food. Clownfish are such personable fish; the owner can't help but drop more food in when the little guy greets him in the front of the aquarium, swimming jubilantly like nothing is wrong. Which couldn't be further from the truth, because everything is wrong! We're stuck in an acrylic box!
There used to be a Leopard Wrasse in here named Spot. He told me stories of the great blue water -wonderful stories. Unfortunately, he died from a parasitic infection, and that was the last time any fish were purchased from the blue water.

Our owner moved onto buying tank-bred fish, corals, and invertebrates. I guess you could say that ignorance is bliss, because I was quite happy before Spot had showed up. I suppose you could call me bitter; what made him so special that he was given the chance to have a great big adventure while I was stuck here? Sure, the environment is constantly changing, it's not the same, though. I don't know how to explain it - I just don't feel like I belong here anymore. One day I will have my own adventure. One day.
