The Sage of Winter Solstice

Aerynn was once part of a large tribe of winter-loving nomads that traveled through Pridd's mountain ranges, performing dances in exchange for coin. Well-adjusted to the cold from the time he was born, Aerynn has a bit of fascination with snow and ice - a fascination that lead him to discover his ability to make such things himself. He was eventually sought out by Virgil, who requested he join him in training to eventually become a follower of the Goddess Psione. Never had such an honor fallen to this particular tribe, and Aerynn left with Virgil to start his new life, carrying his family's blessing with him.

Having been in Theede for several seasons now, Aerynn serves Psione well as the Sage of Winter - though he is known to grow restless in the constant spring environment and occasionally wreak havoc through snowfall. Pentas is especially fond of Aerynn, and she does everything in her power to hold his affections - a fact that Aerynn does not miss, but one that he does best to ignore with his strange fear of cats. Or perhaps it is not such a strange fear - for sometimes when it snows in Theede, only a tiny, stark-white rat with pure black eyes is around to see it.
