First Light

As the first light breaks across the horizon, the faint sound of waves crashing onto shore drifts lazily across the reef. Beneath the screeches of seabirds, schools of fish hide within the safety of the nooks and crannies that the reef offers. Crabs are abundant, slowly making their way through the craggy terrain while other marine life flits through the coral. Slowly but surely, the reef that was once quiet is now teeming with wildlife. However something even larger, was beginning to stir down in the depths of the sea.

Hidden deep beneath the colorful reef, a mystical cavern is nestled within a labyrinthine formation of sea kelp, their emerald tendrils swaying gently with the ocean's rhythmic pulse. The seafloor within the cavern is an intricate mosaic of seashells, some aglow with the luminescence of refracted sunlight that filters through the crystal-clear waters above. The depths surrounding the cavern seemed devoid of life, as if nature itself held its breath. Suddenly, a low, ominous rumble reverberated from within the cavern, shaking the water around it and sending ripples of anticipation through the otherwise tranquil underwater world. A sea serpent awakens inside, stretching its long, shimmering body and blinking its gentle, wise eyes as it greets the new day. Beside the serpent, its loyal eel companion coils and uncoils, excited for the start of a new day. With a yawn that ripples through the water, together they swim gracefully out into the colorful reef.

With shimmering scales that glisten in the sunlight filtering down from above, it gracefully weaves through the vibrant corals, its sleek silhouette a comforting presence to the creatures of the reef. Hitode maintains a watchful eye on all the creatures that call the reef home. Though he is known for his wisdom and gentle nature he uses his immense size and strength to protect the delicate ecosystem from any threats that may come its way, ensuring that peace and harmony reign in his underwater domain.
