As legend would have it, after Subeta’s creation the sun moved across the sky so quickly both day and night were too short. The daylight hours were not enough for the Subetan population to complete their daily tasks and the darkness too short to get sufficient sleep.
One fateful night, a young Keeto spotted a miraculous shooting star in the night sky. Shooting stars were so rare, no living Keeto had borne witness to one. The Keeto, remembering the old tales of the elders, knew when she wished upon a star her dreams would come true. The selfless Keeto gazed up at the wondrous star and wished for longer days and longer nights hoping her wish would soon come true.
Now Keetos, when wishing on shooting stars, send their wishes to the goddess of the sky, Estella, and hope their wishes will also soon come true.
