I used to be a good boy...I really did...

Although he was born into a wealthy family, Issak's home life was far from perfect. His parents, a Japanese immigrant stuck in a loveless marriage, and the Moscow leader of a global crime syndicate, believed in a strict, discipline-heavy method of parenting. Issak was usually forced to study until the late evening, when he would much rather play outside. He had few friends, and the friends that Issak had were the straight-laced children of his father's allies. Although he didn't really like the other children, Issak was once again forced to do something he didn't want to do and play with them in order to strengthen the ties between his father's syndicate and the syndicates of his father's allies. Slowly, Issak began to resent his parents for all of this, however, he did not speak out against them, and he did not even talk back, thinking that if he kept on doing as they said, then he'd finally get the chance to play outside with kids that he didn't completely hate. Perhaps throwing tantrums and lashing out would have been better for the boy, because the hatred and anger he directed towards his parents would fester inside of him for years.

When Issak turned fourteen, things started to change for him. With his father gone more often on business trips, Issak became the man of the house, and his mother started giving him more freedom. He began to go out more and associate himself with a very different set of friends, namely a local street gang. The mindless, random violence was just the catalyst that Issak needed for all his bottled-up anger and rage to explode outwards, and he loved it. He quickly advanced in the gang's ranks, and by the time that Issak was sixteen, he was a foul-mouthed, easily-annoyed, ultra-violent terror of the streets.

Don‘t like me? Suck it up or get out.

When asked about Issak, the first thing that people call him is "a little bastard." And this isn't without good reason. He has little patience and is prone to explosive fits of extreme violence. He doesn't waste his time on small talk, finding it a waste of energy that could be used elsewhere, however, when it comes to chewing someone out, he won't hold back.

Although Issak can be cold and difficult to like, it cannot be said that he's completely heartless. He can be nice to those in his gang who leave him alone, and it's said that he'll even grant small favors to them.

Only when he's in the mood, of course.

What do I like? Not you, that's for sure...

Ever since he was a young boy, Issak has been insanely proud of his Japanese and Russian heritage, despite his hatred towards his parents. Most of all, Issak loves traditional Japanese food, especially sweets. His favorite food is dango, and he especially loves them when his mother makes them.

Perhaps it is because he didn't get much time to have a "real" childhood when he was younger, but secretly, Issak loves colorful children's toys. When he isn't sneaking around a back alley or involved in some sort of fight, Issak can be found in toy stores playing with whatever the shopkeepers have out, often accompanied by his boyfriend, Nikolai.
