Expanding Centropolis

By: Jenovai Lee

Medium: Spraypaint on recycled building materials

Lee is a Centropolis resident and local activist, fighting for the rights of her peers and neighbourhood to have and retain housing without destroying more of Centropolis?s green areas. She believes too much of the city?s real estate is being bought by the rich and left largely unused while the poor are forced out of their homes to make way for luxury apartments and hotels. Lee believes there is a better solution in the form of community reclamation and common housing designation, and wants to spread her message far and wide. This piece is a smaller reproduction of one she had displayed on the side of the Millionaire Centre.
