...Or the GELATIN, I should say. Normally when these things invade, the first thing I hear is the disgusting noise of thousands of mini gelatins sliding across the land, but something's different this time. I can hear the minis, of course, but they're faint, farther off in the distance. This thing out in front... it's heavy. Massive. I think it's Hydragellos... and I think it's been working out. Doing some core strength exercises, if you will! I know, I'm hilarious.
I don't want to discourage anybody here, but I have a feeling that we're not going to be able to take this thing down completely this time. With any luck, though, we can make its stay in Subeta so miserable that it won't stick around for longer than a week. Tell you what: as motivation, I'll personally retrieve a Hydragellos Maniacal Core from the beast for each and every battler who manages to do 5 million damage to it by the end of August 30. Don't worry if you can't hit that total; I'll still scrounge up some other rewards for you based on total damage dealt, and you can of course hack away at any smaller gelatins to see what kind of loot you can knock out of their jiggly insides!

My gosh, Subeta actually went and gave us a Jelly War? Um...so... maybe this does have a chance... any artist want to make a new Jack Cardale item? Like, he doesn't have a book, or a beanbag, or a sticker with his name on it... just saying.
This is awesome, but I wish we could see the gelly's hp at the end of the battle. Scrolling back and forth to keep track of damage done is killing me worse than the fight itself...
!!! I was literally just thinking of this tonight because I cranked out a lot of the challengers left that I hadn't defeated 5 times yet!!!!! Core here I come!

@aesop Well, when you put it that way I guess it's more of a tradeoff. Either way it still comes down to the cost of time versus sP. Either way its an sP sink!
@Allegria I feel you there. The cost of healing is certainly a pretty penny, especially if your pet has higher stats. Mine costs 15k sP a pop to heal!

my pet's a wee baby at tier 3... i calculated it and it'd take me more than 100k battles to get 5mil.. guess that's not happening HAHA
So here's the irony... I'm using the Questathon to finally be able to afford a Natasha (a T11 Millionaire Center weapon) that would probably be nice and powerful against this challenger. However, if I do the challenger to 5mil then the cost of healing will hold me back from my savings goal of getting a good weapon that would be useful in the battle and do more damage.

In all honestly I say that quest a thon will come second to this. I'll try to do it all. 5mil in damages. Ok. Here goes. Good luck everyone.
@aesop Consider yourself lucky that it only costs you 1200sP per turn. My cost per heal 15k sP which means I'd be spending around upwards of 6 mil (probably closer to 10-15mil) to get to 5 million damage. I haven't calculated my exact damage per battle but I figure I'm in he 5-10k range.

a tip for tracking damage, use google sheets or excel. Just incase you mistype into a calculator. Type your numbers into the A column and in the B column use =SUM(A:A)
It would be nice if we were allowed one confirmation of our damage by an admin. I'm afraid I think I'll be at 5 million, but have miscalculated (I know I should go over to avoid this, but what if I added a lot extra). I HAVE ANXIETY.
Is there going to be a top 'xx many battlers above 5 million' reward or is the 5 million the cap and it doesn't matter how much damage you do beyond that, you still get the core and no new super weapon?
@crashingnightingales - I'm assuming that it's supposed to be a bit of an sP sink. I calculated my average damage per battle (~1000), so it'll take me 5000 battles, and at 1200 sP per heal around 5 million to get it.

@aesop To get the Core, you have to get the 5 mil damage with a single pet. For the other prizes, you can get multiples depending on how many pets you battle with. Each pet will get the prizes up to whatever damage range it does. So if you have one pet that does 5 million, you'll get all of the prizes that are awarded up to the 5 mil threshold. If you have another pet that only does like 100k damage, then you'll only get the prizes that go up to that amount for that pet. If you have several pets that all do millions of damage each, then you can get lots of doubles for the prizes.

Is there any chance that the Healer might considering waiving some of her fees to help a poor beleaguered battler for the duration of the event? Surely, her coffers won't suffer as much as my pockets at such a time as this. Paying 15k a pop to have a go at the hydragellos is driving me into a the poorhouse. Save for the miracle of the Questathon I'd be going raving mad, having to turn my wee pockets out just to get my hands on a blessed core. Take a wee bit of pity on a poor battler will yee? ?I may be exeragerrating a wee bit, but my poor pockets are being drained as quickly as I fill them at this rate. But I'm ready to take her to court. This Hydragellos is going down!
@Laurey To add on to what Jason said: for the core, you have to get the 5 mil damage with a single pet as opposed to (for example) getting 1 mil with five different pets. Maybe in the future we'll have a way to check every user's entire roster and add up the damage, but not this year, unfortunately!

To clarify some things:
- The 5 million damage is for a single pet, over the length of a week (not a single battle).
- You can battle with as many pets as you'd like. All of them can get prizes based on the damage they deal.
- The only prize that is limited is the Core. It is limited to one per user, regardless of how many pets they have that deal 5 million+ damage.
Is there any chance for a damage tracker to be introduced or are we going to have to keep track of everything ourselves? That can be so hard ahaha orz; I will do my best tho
