The Rift
In my circuit this year, I came across something unusual, and quite spectacular. A rift in space and time. Now, there are few that may remember something like this happening before - and the trouble it caused! I have spent some time checking on the stability of this rift. It seems that it cannot be entered fully by humanoid creatures. You can toss things in - items, currency. The returns are...interesting sometimes. I believe this rift is safe to interact with, although only once per person, per day.

Is it possible to get any information on what happens to our pets at the very least?

If they release a rift color I would be SO PUMPED, but until we know more I'm way too chicken to toss any of my babies in there. I'll stick to items for now!

1: Will all the missing pets be returned eventually? (possibly in a new colour?)
2: Will this be added to the dailies page?
3: I noticed that it gives out retired items when you give it an item. Will this always be the case?

I doubt our pets are gone forever guys, if you look them up it says their owned by NPC Rift or whatever. And the text also says to wait a bit longer, so I guess they'll come back at some point changed in some way.

You know what, I'll toss my pet in there. If Janeway is truly her inspiration she'd be gung ho about exploring new galactic frontiers even at risk of never returning.
