Adding my voice to the masses confused by 10 votes equaling 6 winners...?
Congrats to those 5 winners (since Cathii won for two items)though! The items are lovely and I scooped up a copy of each asap.
However, out of these 6 winning items, I only voted for 1 (the perfume...I need 3 copies which would be out of the question for me if it was released as a regular CW) and I find that I am quite disappointed that none of the lips or eyes made it through. I focused on voting for face items since those can't be made into CWs while everything else can. I guess if anything, this (plus Peka Boo) should send a loud and clear message that the users of Subeta really, really want CW face items other than make-up though since it felt like the majority of the 70 finalists were either eyes or lips/smiles. Maybe that was just my perception though...shrug.
It was really hard to vote for only 10 items since all of these were so well done,so I guess I just wish that there would have been at least 10 winners.

The winning items are nice, but none are ones I voted for, so I'm disappointed too. I really loved a lot of the others. Like someone else said -- I think there were 6 or 7 I loved, and I threw my extra votes to items that were nice but I didn't need to have. I wouldn't have if I'd known there would only be 6 winners! If it's possibly to choose another 4 winners for this contest, I think people would be much happier.
Also, to anyone who thinks the perfume shouldn't have won, it actually looks really nice on top of a bg. On white/grey it doesn't show how nice it actually is. I too was unsure about it because to me it had a weird look to it, but it works much better with some background behind it. Great job to all the artists!

All that aside though, what I want to know (and everyone else too) is why are there only SIX winning items? I was given TEN votes for the entry items. This is really false advertising! Had I known that there would only be six winning items, I would have stopped voting after my sixth favorite item. Honestly after I voted for a certain number of items I just had to have, I had some votes left over. So I used those extra votes for items I thought were nice but not necessarily items that I loved.
If you are going to give us 10 votes and then only choose six items you really need to say so. This was really bad hosting of a contest on your part and showing false advertising. Had we known that only six items would be made into official items I am sure not everyone would have used the full 10 votes.
In the future please do not try to mislead us and bait us with false pretenses for a contest, just communicate with us what is happening in the simplest way to avoid confusion and frustration.

Congratulations to all the winners. Wonderful work. I being a Fannibal totally voted for the shattered glass thing because it reminds me of the book Red Dragon, the movies Manhunter and Red Dragon. Also the coming season of Hannibal has cast a Francis Dolarhyde. I hope someday to get that item, but it is totally unfeasible for me now or maybe ever. I liked some more stuff that reminded me of Hannibal Lecter, but I can't recall just what they were. I liked some of the eye shadows too. :D. I thought everyone did very well. Congrats to the winners. Items were nice but i'm a little disappointed that none of the items i voted for won. Actually surprised that none of the eyes made the winners list. Artists did a great job on the items and I hope they all can make them available in their shops. I really want the ones I voted for.

Oh my gosh... Who made the heart wig? The one that had the gorgeous hearts all over it? It was sort of ombré'd as well! I would definitely pay to own that wig. Ah! Please, tell me who made it and if they're selling it!

I want to thank the people who voted for all our items. I hope some of the ones i also liked will be as a cw in the future. I feel thankful and grateful for the comments on the bedroom bg. I will put it in my cw shop afterwards. I just wanted to let people know that I made it and will pull it through.
Very much in agreement with those who have said it would be nice to know who submitted the ones that did not win. I understand you would not want us to know during the voting but listing them after the fact so we can let those people know we have an interest in them seems appropriate.

Well, I wanted the background, so yay on it winning! I'm thinking I voted for the mirror and the perfume but I don't remember that clearly. I just went down the list and randomly used the rest of the 8 votes I had.

First of all, congratulations to all the winners! You've all done a marvelous job and I've just spent the past hour or so getting more candy hearts to spend! xD
Secondly, I'll agree with some of the posts. I also believed the 10 votes we were given meant we had about 10 new items heading our way. :/ I guess that wasn't the case and it wasn't made clear.
Thirdly, Again I'll agree with some of the posts. We should have been given the opportunity to learn the makers of these items in case they decided to start selling them separately in their CW shops. I saw a number of items - that obviously didn't win - that I would have loved to have bought had that been the case. :/
This needs a bit of a rethink if this part of Survival is done next year.

Could someone tell me who made that lovely red swirl dress? Is there any chance it will be released as a CW, or the bedroom background?

I wish we could have a list of who submitted what (didn't think to save the info on the ones I liked the most) so that anything that wasn't a facial feature we can follow and see if it will be submitted as a CW.
I was also super confused by the small number of winners. 10 votes = 10 winning designs is what it seems everyone thought. I mean, we only had 5 votes for Peka-Boo and that had 10 winners.
Also categories next time? If its an event like this where its 2 different themes, definitely split those with X number of votes to be used for each theme - and also maybe split facial features (which we cannot convert into CWs - unless you plan to change that) from all other wearables so that we can maybe get some features as winners next time.

I dont think Ive ever been so bummed about a competition. No faces made it :/ I did like the hairs and all, but those can be cw. Its so sad to me that the one item type with no other chance to be on site didnt even get a single win.

I must chime in with the others when I say I was pretty much expecting 10 winners. I am thoroughly surprised that more face items didn't win, and even more so surprised that only 2 of my votes went to winners. Regardless, congratulations to the winners, it was a stiff competition.

And to answer your question because the art was amazing and it fit the brief that was offered out.
In addition, it seems most users actually liked it because it ended being one of the 6 out of 70+ that won.
Only 1 item I voted for made it through, and it was the one I tossed into the tally at the end as an "eh, why the hell not" to fill out the 10 votes allowed. Not even complaining, I'm legit amused.

I would love for 10 winners as well - though honestly I wanted just about everything that was there! Only one of the things I voted for made it haha, though I /almost/ voted for that dress so I'm glad to see it!
