It’s time to hang up your dancing shoes until next year because the Masquerade is now over.
The forums are still open, but they and the items in the 2012 Menagerie tab will go away today at 11:59pm!

There were a lot of errors, and the site was kinda slow, but I had fun! Can't wait till next year!!

There is no need to worry all y'all who missed dance invites. The Atebus Historical Society keeps rigid permanent track of your dance queue. They're the only game in town, heck the entire planet, so everyone follows the rules. Next year all your invites will still be there and acceptable.
Aw, dang. Is there any chance we'd be able to accept dances past the end date? (Sort of like how a lot of the holiday shops are open all year now) I woke up to over 200 dances from last night and I feel really bad I'm not able to accept them...
What a marvelous masquerade! It was pretty small, but not as small as last year, and the amount of male-oriented wears was pretty plentiful this year. Didn't get any duels, but at least I got a couple dances in to get a plentiful amount of trinkets. All in all, it was pretty good, and I enjoyed the new wears. Thank you, Subeta.

@Mayonaka Only if you didn't answer them last year (view the accepted invites and reply to the invite requests). A year is a long time to wait though.
my biggest regret is that i was unable to spend much time on this year's masquerade event. :'( but the newest items are amazing as are the new steamworks pets, so it's something to look forward to next year!

Luckily I managed to get everything I wanted from the 2012 section, but my token stash was almost depleted LOL.

Got my Steamwork pet. :heart: Fed my gourmand all the foods, got all the items I think I need for this year, and only ended up with three dances I couldn't accept because of 502 errors.... So all in all, I had a great time.
Aww... I'm going to miss the Masquerade until next year. I felt like there weren't enough trinkets for me to get since I was (still am) busy...

Any dance invites and replies you didn't get to answer should show up again next year. I had several pop up as soon as this event began, left over from last year. :) Long time to wait though.

For the Menagerie, yes. After they announced that they'd be getting rid of the 2012 tab I specifically started looking for any masquerade items from the years before. The 2011 tab for the Lounge has been there the whole time, though.

Are you sure 2011 was off already? Because I've been buying from it all through the event. :I
It's a little unfortunate - my dance partner didn't log back on to accept her dances so she probably has about 100+ new proposals that she can't accept. That also means that I just missed out on about a half a day's worth of trinkets. Still, I managed to get everything from 2016 and 2012 with some left over, so I shouldn't complain too much. Thank you guys for a great masquerade!

woke up to a bunch of dance requests that i can't accept now.. :/ was hopeful at least that would remain open to claim. is there no way to open that back up? missing out on quite a few trinkets now..

Good job guys, another great year! Question though, when masquerade comes around next year will I be able to accept the last maybe twenty dances I forgot to accept?
Any dances not accepted this year are generally still there next year. The first invites you'll accept will be from this year if you missed any. ^_^

I hope 2012 is not retired forever, couldn't get it all. I liked the event but all the site problems and lagging made it really difficult to enjoy it.
I was hoping the battling would pop up last minute, dang. I'll keep hoping for later, need more of that blood trail.
I can't stand how it closes and I have no way to accept those last few dances I was not here for. Maybe in the future you guys could figure out a way to close asking to dance, but not accepting to dance.

Wss hoping for another day since the site kept sending errors. :( But I love all the pretty new stuff, so can't be too disappoint.
