Ahoy, mateys! Some o' ye may 'ave noticed lately that I 'ave been packin' a little extra treasure in me booty. Well, I’m here t' tell ye that as much as I love me grub AND me rotund body, me 'n Angrybeard are actually expectin' a wee pirate cub.
Ye can hold back th' congratulations, I don't wants ye all natterin' at me at once. It weren’t exactly th' biggest challenge I’ve faced in life - I used t' sail th' seas meself once upon a time, 'n got into plenty o' fights! How do ye reckon Angrybeard 'n I met?
Anyway, wha' I’m here fer today be t' ask fer yer help in a wee project I been thinkin' about - a site wide treasur....I mean item drive! It must be me hormones, 'cause I’m feelin' a mite charitable. I’m lucky enough t' 'ave me inn 'n me mateys around me…and sometimes Angrybeard, but plenty o' families in Subeta don’t be so lucky. So I’m thinkin' we go collectin' together as many items as we can, 'n I can be setting up a donation fer Charity t' sort out as she will. I reckon t' make it a wee more fun - we'll only accept th' items that 'ave a color in thar name - 'n th' color that gets donated th' most will be th' color I’ll potion me cub!
Come visit me t' donate yer items - or check if yer items are acceptable. We be acceptin' R1-199 so thar be a lot o' things that we’ll take! I expect we'll end this once I'm done…expectin'. Anyway - what I’m here for today is to ask you fine people in a little project I’ve been contemplating - a site wide item drive! I think my hormones are making me feel a little charitable. I’m lucky enough to have a business of my own and my family and friends around me, but there are many families in Subeta that aren’t so lucky. So I was thinking that we could collect together as many items as we can to put together as a donation for Charity to pass on! To put a little fun spin on it, we’ll just collect items with colors in their names, and the color that gets donated the most will be the color I’ll potion my cub!
Come visit me to donate your items - or check if your items are acceptable. I'm accepting R1-199 items so there’s a lot of things that I’ll take! I plan to run this Item Drive up until my cub arrives, which I feel will be about a week from now! There are no item prizes for giving items as it’s for charity, but I will be able to throw in a forum title for participators.
Now, off to donate items!

Darn it, marsh doesn't seem popular. It's okay, I'm invested. Plus, I'm enjoying buying out cheaper marsh items to raise prices. Yay!
Can't donate any of my nuclear lifelike plushies, but I can donate llplushies of every other color so far.
Going for the Gold--literally~! Looks like I'll be doing a lot of treasure (ahahaha) hunting for a while. So that Babette can have her own little treasure. Ubububu, so cute, aaaa.
Great..even pixelated bears can have babies and I can't... Think I'll avoid the news page for the next couple weeks. And yes, the fertility meds I'm on make me irrationally emotional.

So basically all we have to do is donate 1 item since there's no prize for donating more. OK. I've donated a lot of dusk items because they're pretty cheap.
Why are we not flooding this with bloodred items. I want to see a terrible little murder child who is not allowed on any carpets.
I think the cub should be Gold or Silver, simply because it reminds me of pirate treasure. Aqua is also fitting, as it is reminiscent of the sea. Twilight is also another good choice to me, but I can't think of why...
I was expecting to get blocked because I don't have access to omen islands. I'm glad that's not the case.
This is cute but kind of needlessly tedious. I'm guessing the true goal of this is to siphon tons of items offsite and possibly raise user shop prices a bit (which is awesome), but this one-item-at-a-time/page reload thing (combined with not knowing how much we've donated or need to donate is a real turnoff. shrug
I concur that if the object of this is to get people to donate items from their hoard, I would have at least tier achievements of up to 100.

I'm hoping for Aqua, Gold, Marsh, or Silver. Sad that some people suggested a gold pirate baby but no one suggested Silver. ;.;
Anyway, I'd love it if we could get statistics so we could know which colors are getting the most donations. As someone else said, it might encourage us to donate for our favorite colors.

Non-colorfill NPCs would be interesting anyday though. With the Subetan landfills now festering with over 20k unique items per user, all the chemical byproduct is sure to have an affect on the first characters born in the last decade.
@Holden Special colors aren't available options. Only the basic "colorfill" ones as has been mentioned many times.
1. i also am curious as to how items with multiple colors in the name will work. do they count for all colors in the name, or just the first, or what?

I wish you could donate those items, spectrum would be a cool cub color. it's only the colorfill colors so like dawn/pink, dusk/blue, etc. I think they're working on a list of the items you can donate to be clearer :)

Thanks for the tip. Someone put in a lot of thought into this colour donation thing. I figured rainbow might go for spectrum. I think the others were fruit flavors so makes sense.

@Amber But all the items I listed have a pet color in the name...why wouldn't they be accepted? Is it basic colors only (ROY G BIV + brown/white/black/gold/silver?) The news post and the donation page don't mention anything about Glacier/Spectrum/Galactic type pet colors not being accepted. I'm just a little confused :

There's less stingy people complaining about lack of rewards in the comments than I expected, and more of the ones who actually enjoy the chance to contribute with the lore in a simple manner, I'm both surprised and pleased :b

I don't understand the point of this. I understand staff wants items off site... but no achievements? A title that is for all participants so you only have to donate a single item to get it? I understand not adding more items to the site as that would defeat the purpose, but there should definitely at least be tiers.
haha I find it funny we can donate 'non' subeta potion colors(ie blue, red, etc) instead of just things with glade, bloodred, dusk, lilac, etc ..I guess I'm in a mood to be mean like that :P

She would have taken a white acorn but I didn't have it in my wardrobe yet and really wanted that little albino squirrel. No go with the Nuclear rave fish... and a nuclear cub would have been soooo cute!
This made me realize how much I miss the story events with riddles and games and prizes. I hope there is one soooon.

In terms of the forum title, is there a minimum amount of items needed? I'd rather not donate 100 items and then find out I had to donate 105
I also have contributed to the green cause. Enlightening the cubs with green potions sounds like a plan. >.>

@Cerex Hmm I guess it the name doesn't have to particuarly be related to the color, but that mug is very close to "Cherry" color so I assume it will count towards a Cherry colored vote.
@canebrake I agree with A donate all button yes, but not with the idea of a nightmare cub. I really can't see how that would fit with any of the lore properly. But that's just my opinion, as "funny" as it would be, one of the common colors makes much more logical sense to me.
I'd like to humbly beg for a Donate All button.. and for Nightmare Cubs. We all know that's what they'll turn into sooner or later.

@StarShadow Yeah, Glacier isn't considered a basic color. I really think she's only accepting items for basic colors and not the more special ones. Pretty much just think of all the colors that don't change the default "common" pose of the pet and those are the colors she is looking for, thusly Glacier, Reborn, Nightmare, Storm etc do not work.

@StarShadow Give her items with specific colors in their names. Those seem to work. So such as "aqua such and such", or "Blue such and such", Field, Green, Red. Things that correlate closely to the basic pet colors like Dusk, Sun, Aqua, Cherry etc seem to work. <3

I will say that this makes me a wee bit happy, the prices are going to rise on this stuff which means more profit, with so many things undervalued this is lovely for our pockets!

This isn't going to be one of Subetas famous "No prizes, just a forum title" and then changes to: "We changed the rules half way through, you now get a forum title, a potion matching the pet, a new pet, 500 csc, 20 subeautique invitations, a 12 month gold account medal and 60 never before released items!" is it?

@Cobaltbluetoo Burgundy doesn’t really match any of our common colors. People are able to donate blue items and dusk to count towards dusk, field and green for green, etc.
Love it except we need to add something that let's us donate everything at once instead of 1 item at a time - going through my vault and will have a lot to donate except doing it one piece at a time is too slow.
This is such a cute way to get the users input on a new npc design. xD

It clearly states she'll take anything with a color in the title and a rarity of 1 to 199 yet she refused to take my

I've already participated a bit and I may do more as the event goes on, but I am also a little bummed there are no new items. Titles can be great but I'm genuinely only attached to two or three already on site so I don't think they're a big thing for me. ;x; Still, I'm glad titles are getting attention for the people who do enjoy them. And this is so very cute anyway! A May baby!!

What if an item has TWO colors in its name? If I donate my Blue and Gold Big-Buckle Belt, will it tally for dusk or gold?

I was all excited by the idea of an item drive to shift all these unwanted items I have but then sad that we only get a title :( Sorry I know I sound stingy but I'd rather save my items and give them out to friends instead.
What counts as a color? I thought it would be only for the potions we have, but I was able to donate something with the word "black" in it but not something with "reborn" in it?
