I don't understand it, why are they back again? And they're still looking at me, they're definitely looking right at me and they're LAUGHING. What is wrong with me? What am I doing that's so funny? What are they saying? This cloak doesn't hide me enough. I'll just look down, the runes will protect me.
They're not working, the runes are supposed to make people forget me. The people are back again, they're here every day, they aren't forgetting. There are more of them, looking and watching and not talking to me but they're talking alright, they're talking about me, they're staring at me and they're talking about me and I've done something wrong but I don't know what it is, it's everything, everything I do is wrong, I am worthless I am nothing STOP LOOKING AT ME.

1. My first thought was literally "scopophobia" - which is another name for opthalmophobia, so that's actually really cool and I personally appreciate the description/introduction text a lot!

3. If you haven't heard THIS SONG it's worth checking out because it's literally a song about disembodied eyeballs ("wide, unblinking eyes") that stare at you until you lose your sanity. (It's from a book series, but the author created music too and this is one of the songs!) I think it fits this theme so much...

Also dangit Subeta I'm supposed to be taking a break from this site to get some important stuff done/not be distracted, WHY DO YOU KEEP MAKING STUFF THAT'S TOTALLY UP MY ALLEY, DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE EYEBALLS, FIRST THAT BHH ITEM ("Gouged Mahar Eyes"), NOW THIS GORGEOUS EYEBALL FRIEND CHALLENGER THING I NEED IT IN MY LIFE.
