is it normal for the Native american Plushie description to be "This description will be more detailed soon!" ??
The background is absolutely gorgeous. Great art work. Not sure if I will use it though since I already spend time in the kitchen IRL. Maybe sell it. Thanks for great items in the TS. :)

What I find especially weird is that I'm pretty sure that plushie literally just restocked in the chaotic token shop restock like a week ago, then was for some reason brought right back without being altered beforehand. But I get that it's a bit of beating a dead horse since it's already being addressed below so that's all I've got to say on it.
Anyway, grabbed the background last night. Thank goodness for randomly checking my phone in bed lol.

I meant any other items, not just the ones that need new names/descriptions. I was just asking for the cause usually more than one item revamp is released at a time.

At the moment @pointycatears this is the only one getting actual item art update. As I go through that thread and others, I'll make a list and spread it out through the team to get more taken care of this month. :)
That's good to hear. Will we be seeing a few other revamps at the same time? I mean of the art.

Just FYI, the art of the plushie will be updated sometime this week. :) I've reached out to an artist to get that art updated but have gotten rid of the description for the moment and shortened the name until we have the art updated where I can use the suggestion of @seven and use the specific tribe in the name/desc.
Please no one try to brush this off. It's completely understandable users are frustrated this wasn't changed beforehand, especially since I did it just so users could finish collections etc. I'm going through this thread and others to update some item name/descriptions so please if you come across any add them there.

That background was worth it. Besides, I've got loads of tokens saved up. It's crystals that I need to work on...

@Amber to be frank i don't feel like that's a reasonable excuse. this game is a luxury, collections are not a necessity, and they can wait to complete a collection until racist references are removed from a plushie or save up the sP to buy it at the current going rate if they're that desperate to have a racist plushie in their collection. i hope y'all reconsider in the future because this is not acceptable.
That plushie is so bad. I'm shocked staff would re-release it without at least removing the passive aggressive "Politically Correct" from the name.
I hope staff did their research and the Algonquin people are okay with representations like this, if its even accurate.

@Seven @Holden It's very much yikes at the moment, and I know it's been brought up on that thread. I'm actually starting on a whole list of items to update tonight, this being on it, but wanted to at least get the collection item itself out because there aren't many on-site and people want to finish collections.
I'm quite sure the plushie has been brought up in the forum thread about changing item names and descriptions.
yikes @ that plushie. indigenous people & even specifically native americans are not a monolith, referring to them as "the native americans are an [...] people" is ignorant in and of itself, and if you're going to mention a specific tribe the least you could do is make the clothing on the plushie accurate to the culture instead of a stereotyped "tiger lily from peter pan" feathered headband. and to call it "politically correct" feels like a slap in the face. why would you choose to restock that item now when it it's been mentioned on the forum for items that have problematic names & descriptions that need to be addressed since april? (inb4, i am native american)

I only just woke up, what lucky timing!!! And that background is so beautiful that I just had to get it. I only need the plushie and maybe the minion next.
