Bandit, Cranky Carrot, and Cursed Effigy are ready to fight!!!
In previous years, Bandit had to be unlocked by having the sneaky thief steal the items you threw in the bonfire. This year, however, he’s available to all without trying to unlock him just like the Cranky Carrot.
Retirements for Fireside challengers will be announced with the next round of challengers.

I have the same question as Zathrian. Is the bandit supposed to take the item every time? I'm not sure if I should keep trying or wait in case something needs to be fixed.
At what point does bandit stop taking my stuff? I've yet to sacrifice to the bonfire yet :'D

There are two different Effigy achievements. "Cursed Effigy Defeated" is the name of the achievement related to this version of him. If you have that already, it won't trigger again. If the achievement you're looking at is "Effigy Unleashed" you'll need to unlock the Cursed Effigy, the Tormented by using the option on a

4 pets later and not a single scale. Did Effigy stop dropping them or does my luck suck that badly??
I'm still hoping we get a veggie war someday like the one talked about in minion descriptions.
Is this cursed effigy not the same as the one in the achievements because I defeated him but did not get the acheivement?
Looking forward to the new challengers! Since we've already got a carrot, if you throw in some peas, potatoes and shallots we'll have ourselves the startings of a good stew.

New challengers? Is that why there's been such a delay with the monthly challengers? (I'm still wondering if the CS challenger is coming out before the next free challenger or if the free challenger will be first and then the CS challengers will be out together). Well anyway, I hope that one of them will be easy enough for my pat to fight because those three there are too high for her to stand a chance X)

@PiplupMagby34 He's still going to steal a few. I tried to take out the code earlier but messed up a bracket and broke the bonfire. Will ... deal with that better during daylight time haha
Are you suppose to be unable to use scrolls against the cranky carrot? Cause it wont let me select any...
Trying to think of what other challengers might be coming back because these 3 are the only ones I can remember being associated with Fireside. Unless it'll be like returning old challengers or something?

When you make the fire angry, I believe @CassieFenix! If you've unlocked it in the past, though, you should see it in the events tab.
