A few reminders:
:star: The Free Shop will be open until 11:59pm on September 24.
:star: The Free Shop restocks from a pool of items I manually restock, and I can't be here 24/7. There are times when it might be a few hours before that pool is full again. Be kind!
:star: Any free item is a good item. Just because you don't get cash shop items throughout the week does not mean the Free Shop wasn't worth it!

Thank you so much for organizing this free shop event!! It’s one of my favorite things on the site… not just “oh! Free stuff!” which is a good enough reason on its own… because it’s a surprise, a mystery, and it’s the kind of moment where anything’s possible. I treasure each site-economy-failed trinket as much as a Subeautique or event item.

It doesnt matter what item you get or its value its a verry great surprise and Im happy for every Single item I get even if its "only" a common item <3

Either I'm the luckiest SOB alive, or Amber is being extra-generous this year. (I have a feeling it's the latter) Seriously this is the best haul I've had in all my 13 years, and I'm always stunned by the staff and user's generosity on this site.

As a bonus challenge I've decided I'm going to put together an outfit made entirely of items I got from the free shop, which I'm wearing right now. Just a good time all around. Thank you so much for this again.

I'm so excited about the free shop. Of course everybody wants wishlist items or cash shop items, but if the free shop only stocked with these where would be the fun? I'm thankful for every item because it gets me nearer to finally get the shop till saver achievement (only 5 millions to go!).
But of course I'm also happy to get gems like

It's true, free items is always better! Doesn't matter if you get something common or not! I got something from my wishlist and I'm really happy to see what else I can get!

@MidnightFox You can grab an item from the Free Shop every five minutes! There's a built-in timer, so you can't grab items more often than you're allowed to. (:

I am very glad you have opened up the Free shop again. Thank you and its fun to think of what you might get opening up one of the boxes!
Getting the "cheaper" items is also great for saving them for questing, or selling them fast to those doing quests :D Thanks Amber for the hard work, we see you doing this by hand every year and I keep hoping you'll be able to automate the process eventually so you don't have to suffer

People that complain about the Free Shop are NUTS lmao. Just the surprise of what's in the box is so much fun tbh!

@Lucian Sadly, in real life, a fourteen-year-old chocolate cake might not be so delicious. (I froze some of my wedding cake for a year, but it wasn't as good afterward. Then again the marriage didn't last either, LMAO, at least we're now friends again!) But now I too want cake. Gluten-free, because I'm celiac, and probably not chocolate because celiacs are more than spoiled for chocolate. I would like an intensely vanilla cake. <3

Yay, so excited! I love free stuff, hahah. Everything that I don't want to keep will become shop fodder, total net gain. Thank you for opening the shop, and giving us a heads up just in case there's a lull in items c:
Also just a fun tip... Something I like to do is -- if I get an item I don't want, I will use the "Wishlist Search" feature, and send it anonymously to someone who has it on their Wishlist :)

@BoaConstrictor It's not unfair because this isn't only open for one day. I'm sure a user getting on today will be on for at least a few minutes sometime this week to grab an item or two. I don't open/stock the shop with the intention of users getting hundreds of items after sitting here constantly refreshing the shop. I want people to get at least a few free items (whatever rarity they may be) while enjoying pirates later in the week.
o.k., so we're keeping our fingers crossed.

@BoaConstrictor No. The Free Shop never had an open time and we very ever rarely start something in the morning, so the assumption that y'all missed half a day because we were late is just that, an assumption. The news post talks about a few hours of emptiness just in case it happens. It's better to be informed than not. In the past, if this happened it didn't last too long. I check throughout the day and even made sure this was happening during a week that I am on my computer more than not. :)
Since we lost more than half a day already - a Sunday, which is free time for most people, this should be 2:15pm on September 25 (another Sunday, when people may again have spare time)!!!
And a few hours of emptyness is a scary prediction, esp. since some people don't spend half of their day here!

I got something to add to my wardrobe which was nice. I love whatever I get from the free shop as it helps with achievements.
