The Mahar is gorgeous, and for some reason the (equally gorgeous) Montre reminds me of one of the hyenas from the Lion King. Maybe Ed.
I love the pose of the montre, but it just looks a little bland when compared with the bolder lineart of the DM mahar.

I love the darkmatter mahar! I love how it has dark crystals. Gives it the right look! Im gonna get one! 8D But the graveyard montre is just a little off to me. Im not sure what it is. Its like its to fuzzy.
The Mahar is perfection. The montre is awesome, but it does throw me off...maybe the shading isn't quite dynamic enough- like there should be more shades of green to give it a bit more depth or detail in the body. I love how it's gnawing on a bone (I'd assume)

omg i feel like the mahar looks different than other colors of the species but it's GORGEOUS. i wish the art was a little more consistent though. the mahar's lines seem so thick next to the montre. not a huge issue though.
Both of these are absolutely freaking awesome. o___o Gawd, that DM Mahar is so flawless... the smooth body shape, the gorgeous crystals, the devious expression... <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/smiley_sadface.gif" border="0" /> I love it. It's everything I could ever want from that species and more.<br/>The GY Montre's wing and tail are oddly cute. XD And eek, is it chewing on the missing wing? |D Those teeth look wicked sharp, man. I think if I tried to take that bone away he'd rip my arm off.
And here I was thinking I'd have to wait until halloween to see the GY montre, like last year with the NM montre. X33 I'm so happy.
