Basic idea for him/ plot

Its the 19th century, a love story of two men in the high society. The one in the highest cast is bound to marry a woman of a richer family than the other boy, this was decided since they were just small children, this woman is ..."the uptown girl"...and both boys played together along with the rest of the many siblings of the girl. When alone the boys did things out of curiosity and just pure innocence that wouldn't be received with open arms in society. Then around they where 8 or something the richer boy's family went on a 'trip' and didn't returned after his 20-22th birthday. In a 'welcome party' they saw each other again, both are happy to see each other again but as they recall the past they feel a growing tension at first they establish a rivalry just to hide their confusion but there is a point where they just give themselves to each other. The mother of the girl notice something strange going on around the richer boy and due to her motherly instinct and finds out about the scandal, she confronts first the less richer boy not wanting for him to meddle in her daughter's wedding since she will receive a great wealth if her child marries that man...
