My parents were twenty-three and twenty-four when they met. The two of them dated for five years before they decided to get married. It was then another year of waiting before they decided to have children. My mom went through twelve miscarriages before she had me at the age of thirty-five. The doctors told her that she would be having a boy. Since she was little she had wanted a son to name Arthor. On December 12th, my mother went into labor and that same day, I was born.
