Separated, lost... this was our fate, unchangeable. Or was it...?
We were one, but our divinity, our unlimited power, was deemed too much for this world-- for all worlds. The Gods split us, halved our power, and tried to destroy us, but failed. Instead, they allowed us to be remade in other universes under far different conditions... but our link; our bond, held strong.
In my case, I was recreated... my spirit summoned by Sylval, crafted and forged into a blessed blade by this God of Holy Light. Before I could regain my senses, I was put into a deep slumber-- awaiting the one who would be worthy of wielding me. I was given the name and title of Moonlight Sword.
The dreams of an object are far different from that of true living things, but I experienced them regardless... though weak, I could sense it-- my other half, broken but surviving, struggling to become whole once more. I sensed they could feel my presence, and that put me at ease.
Though it may be centuries before we are together again, I know that nothing, no space, time, or divine intervention, can keep us from becoming One once more... so long as you can wait for me, my Star-Born Stone.
