Eyes are a pale yellow.

Extremities are tinged slightly green.
Stitched incisions, two down from his right eye, one across his left cheek. Dissection incisions scars on his body. Stitched scars on his legs and tail.

Eclipse-moon tattoo on his left shoulder.
Lithe, just slightly muscular.
Wears comfortable, casual clothes. Cargo pants and t-shirts and hoodies. Always wears a black armwarmer on his right arm that goes up to his elbow.

He lived his life like a burning man.
Every moment seemed to be slipping him by. He knew he'd die one day, he just didn't know when, and where.
The medium's promise seemed as good a bet as any. She'd bring him back if he died, for a price. There was always a price. Hell, who cared about the price?
He hadn't expected the moment to come so soon, or the price to be so great.
It wasn't even during anything exciting.
Sharp turn on his motorbike coming home from classes, and his whole world just disappeared.
His vision went first, when his helmet connected with the asphalt. He felt it crack around his head, felt his head crack into the asphalt. His shoulder went next, popping out of its socket, grinding against the ground. His ribcage cracked, his arms were ground against the tarmac as the bike crashed over into him. He should be in pain but he couldn't feel anything at all.
He couldn't feel
at all.

It wasn't until years later that he was able to be free, be gone from the medium's powers and her clutches. He hadn't aged, not a day, not an hour.
The new world around him didn't seem too keen on his newly-undead status. There were others - others - and they lived somehow, so he could make it too, couldn't he?
He didn't think he could, but he had to try.
His family was gone, his friends had all moved on. He couldn't find a person that he knew, for a long time he felt just as adrift as he had been when he was alive.
His fortunes turned one day, he found a friend he thought he'd never see again. Not long after, having moved in with Grendal, the two received a curious letter, signed only Master.
The address they arrived at was a house, not too far and not too close from the center of the city. It wasn't well-kept, but the gardens were overflowing. The porch might have needed work, but the azaleas out front were in full blossom. They glowed.
He couldn't imagine what he'd find inside, and at the grumpy reception they received from the man who welcomed them, he wasn't sure they'd stay long enough to find out. The man watched them suspiciously, said little, explained nothing. Who was this "Master"? Why were they led there?
The man was silent on all questions.
All they were told was that there was room for them there, if they wanted it.
Nothing more.
With a guy like that, Miecz wasn't sure he wanted to stay. The house - the House - was welcoming, it felt nice to him. Familiar.
He couldn't take that look. He couldn't stand that suspicious gaze.
He didn't want to stay in that house. He was ready to leave.
Until he met him, that is.
The boy was mysterious, and oh so sad. He was like a shadow, just flickering along the edges of his vision.
He wanted to get to know him.
He wanted to get close.
When the mysterious "Master" offered him a job at the house, helping the caretaker maintain the building , and the creatures inside it, he accepted without hesitation. Grendal may have rejected the offer to move in, preferring his little apartment deep in the city, but with no place to go and no work to find, Miecz was in state to reject a generous offer like that.
It'd get him closer to that lonely boy. The thought was enticing.
He couldn't argue away his intentions - they weren't exactly innocent - but the closer he got, the more manageable they became. He didn't want to own the boy, he wanted to know him.
The boy wasn't naive, but he was something different. Something Miecz wanted a part of.
And if the boy's suggestive glances and tempting smiles were anything to go by
the boy wanted a part of him too.
