Archie is a photographer who gets anxious in social situations, is clumsy and hates the halo that follows him around constantly.
Archie's love of photography started when he was very young and was given a toy camera to play with. He was running around 'taking photos' of anything and everything. Soon after he was given a cheap disposable camera and was amazed at how the pictures he took could be printed out onto paper!
When he was in school he took up a photography class. They did film photography and learned how to develop photos in the darkroom. Archie loved this and often spent his lunchtimes in the darkroom experimenting with different techniques in the printing process to create different effects in the finished product.
After school Archie decided to investigate Digital Photography. Though he still has a special place in his heart for film he loves digital. He is the kind that loves to have freedom and when he can change the settings on the camera to produce different feelings in his photos he is filled with joy.
He spends his days photographing most things he can find. His favourite subject is wild animals. He doesn't really like photographing people or most other pets, because they are too self-conscious and don't act naturally. He has albums full of photos of minions and landscapes.
About been a photographer with hooves - At first Archie had the worst trouble manipulating the camera with his hooves. He would often press the wrong button or turn the focusing ring too much, even scratch his lenses. But after a lot of practice he managed to learn which part of his hooves to place where and how much pressure to apply to get the result he wants. It always takes him a few days to get used to a new camera, but other than that it is now second nature to him.
About been angelic - that was an accident. Archie saw the bottle and downed it thinking it was just water in a fancy bottle. He loves the wings he gained though. They give him the freedom to explore different angles that most other photographers can't reach. But he finds his halo extremely annoying. It seems to have a mind of it's own and always sits itself in the most inconvenient spot. Sometimes it interferes with the lighting in his photos, though Archie is ok with admitting it sometimes helps - sometimes. He has tried to lose it on a number of occasions, but it always catches up with him, often cheekily perching itself on his tail.
