For the last 20 years, I've had 2 of the greatest friends in the world.
The one on the left is Patch, he was with me since I was 5 years old, and he was literally the only friend I had.
I had no friends in school, no siblings, only him.
When he passed away at 14 years old, it was probably one of the worst days of my life.

Fast forward to September 16th 2011, and here comes Mikey.
Another Dalmatian.
He has only been with me for a few years, but he has already done more for me than my family does.
He cares, he listens. He's the greatest friend I've had since Patch.

People think Dalmatians are stupid dogs, that they don't care about other people, or that they won't listen because they don't think you're worth it.
No, Dalmatians are probably the greatest breed of dog I've had (and I've been around/shared a home with a few dogs in my life.)
They are loyal, always want to be around you.
Clowns, therapists, friends.
This breed of dog is the closest to my heart, and more people need to realise how amazing they are as a breed.
They might not be for everyone, but they'll always be for me.
