He only sits on the ground. His eyes are blank with no emotion. You could mistake him for a statue. I wonder what happened to his soul.

He once was lively, he lived in the sky. He enjoyed every moment of his life as if it was going to end the next day. He was beautiful, he was painted with the colors of the rainbow. He glowed like a painting.

Then the one day came where he fell down to earth, his colourful glow now musty and dark. He is the color of the dead now, a soft black his fur has become.

She found him in the shadows. Starving. Emotionless. Worthless. She took him to field full of ever color flower, when the sun was at it's highest peak. His eyes, which were always hardly open, now embraced the colors around him. They turned a deep fuchsia from silver. His body was trembling, but it managed to get up. And every step he took through the field, returned the vibrant colors to his mane. He smiled, and began to rise up toward the sun. She only smiled back, and walked away as he vanished into the sunlight.
Rainbows returned after springtime showers from then on.
