Keiarie is a rambunctious and devious Dark Matter Ghostly. He's wild and unpredictable, and is a bit of a trickster, often using illusions and other ghostlike tricks to play harmless pranks on people. Even more than pranks, though, Keiarie likes to throw massive late-night parties that anyone and everyone is invited to, whether living, dead, or any other type of being found on Subeta. He's overall a very likable guy, but is also a complicated creature who is easy for closedminded people to fear out of misunderstanding.

Keiarie's body is actually a fabrication without a mind of its own. Its name is also fabricated, as well; Keiarie's true form is known as Thaenerac. Thaenerac is a Darker Matter with immense magical power who was dissatisfied with his small, limbless form that was incapable even of verbal speech. Thus, Thaenerac conjured Keiarie in order to have a more substantial body that he can use to interact with the world, as well as for defending himself in combat. Keiarie looks like a Ghostly, but is really nothing more than an illusionary creature made of pure dark energy - it has no mind of its own, and merely acts as a body for Thaenerac to control. Though Thaenerac can move independently of his fake body, Thaenerac is never seen far away from Keiarie; if they were separated, Keiarie would cease to exist, and Thaenerac would be forced to create a new vessel.

Long, long ago, Thaenerac actually once served as one of Maleria's minions, and was deemed somewhat useful for his raw magical potential. Thaenerac yearned for more than just power, though - he desired friends, which was something that serving a malicious goddess did not help with. His playful and laid-back personality clashed with his duties under Maleria, and so he eventually managed to slip away and make a new life for himself in the world outside of Darkside.

It was then that he forged his new body, and identity, Keiarie. Thaenerac has been living a happy life ever since. Without any definite lifespan and no pressing obligations, he has been free to play to his heart's content and has even made many friends despite his...unconventional situation.
