This pet is a tribute to the character "Barnabas Collins" from the 1966 TV show "Dark Shadows", portrayed by the great Jonathan Frid. I'm a huge fan of the original series and have been since I was a kid. I'm sure fellow DS fans will recognize some of the items in Barn's treasure chest as well as the name of his minion.
