The happy sound of the music was filling Pascal with joy as he was singing the lyrics. Spotlights were shining on him, warming him together with the rays of the sun. It was a beautiful summer’s day, perfect weather for a music festival. Pascal had been overjoyed when he and the other band members, many months earlier, had been asked if they wanted to play at the local festival next time it was happening. It was truly an honor, and frankly a dream come true.

They had been doing this for several years now. And slowly but surely they’d been building up a fan base. Mostly locals but they’d been putting some videos on the Internet and those had been gaining traction lately. It seemed like their 80’s sound was appreciated. Which was great, because Pascal and his friends loved their own sound. And they adored the sound, style and aesthetics of that era.

Oh, through the wilderness
How come even together there can be loneliness?

As his friends were playing he was singing and dancing around on stage in his bright neon clothing and neon makeup.

As their performance ended they bowed to the audience and then they headed off the stage. As Pascal was walking down the steps at the side of the stage he noticed a very familiar person waiting there with a big smile on their face. Pascal’s face brightened significantly as he hurried his steps. Seconds later he was enveloped by strong muscled arms. His own arms were around the neck of the gorgeous man in front of him. And then they kissed.
-”Hey Donovan! Did you see the whole show?” The other members of the band were so used to seeing the two of them showing affection like this that they didn’t even comment on it anymore.
-”I did.” He looked at Pascal as he added. “You were amazing. As always.”
