Morostide is an important day for Moyra the angel yaherra. For Morostide is the time that Moyra begins her yearly vigil of handing out candy to the citizens of Subeta.

But beware, this generosity has a dark side.

The candy that Moyra hands out is cursed. Most of the time the unlucky ingester of this cursed candy simply experiences harsh nightmares. However, Morya’s candy has occasionally caused people to suffer various mutations such as extra eyes.

To those who are now trembling in fear, don’t worry, for there is a way to avoid Morya and her cursed candies. The yaherra presents her candy only to the misbehaved, selfish and cruel.

From the start of Morostide to Luminaire eve, Moyra carries out this task in order to reform Subetans’ behavior. Moyra abstains from handing our her cursed wares on Thanksgiving, understandably because no one is thankful for getting a monster arm or having nightmares. On the 12 days leading up to Luminaire, Moyra becomes far more aggressive in handing out candy to the deviants of Subeta. The angel yaherra will hand baskets to her imp and goblin friends and direct them to Subetans that need to change their ways before its too late. Many who have suffered nightmares after ingesting Moyra’s cursed candy during this time period recall their nightmares being related to the twelve days of Christmas in some aspect.

One angel keeto recounted that during her nightmare she was attacked by two mutant turtledoves . The keeto attempted to take cover behind a stone wall that bore her image but the turtledoves tore down the wall and threw its stones at the keeto as she fled.

A chibi ruffie’s dream of living in a luxurious castle modeled after a pear tree took a dark turn when she was violently overthrown. As the ruffie was about to be thrown into a fiery pit, she saw the rebellion crown a being with the body of a partridge and the head of a peer she was currently bullying.

Once Luminare is over, Moyra returns to her home for a well-deserved respite. The yaherra snuggles together with her goblin and imp friends and reflects on Luminaires past and present, remembering those who heeded her warnings and those who didn’t.
