Glade FeliMy family thought it was pretty funny and asked the vet if this was normal. Even the vet laughed, so my mommy started to discourage it, so me and my new friend decided to hide under the bed so that I could nurse. We ran and played so hard all of the time, then we took our naps together. We were inseparable!
I loved my best friend, her name is Petunia Mae. When I grew up to be a few years old my mommy and family moved to a place by the mountains. I loved this new place because I could bring in all sorts of fun things to my family through the doggy door. I loved to chase lizards and catch birds. I brought them to my family as a gift. Soon I became a little more brave and started to wander into the front of the house, Mommy used to scold me and tell me no because there were wild animals that didn't like kitties. But I was a child and I had to wander around and find out for myself. I wish I had listened to my Mommy.
One night I wandered out the doggy door when my family was sleeping to go see what all this danger was they spoke about. Little did I know..this was the last time I would see my family again. Mommy put up signs and called everyone, drove around from morning until night searching for me. She even slept in some peoples yards waiting for me to come home. I wish I could have told her it was all okay and to not worry and to stop looking for me. Mommy cried for such a long time because she loved me so much. My bestest friend Petunia would lay on my bed for months waiting for me to come back too.
I wish I hadn't wandered out that night, I wish I hadn't been curious about the wild animals. I wish I could be with my family forever.
My Mommy had a friend bring a new kitty home to her so she wouldn't be sad anymore. They are very happy, and I can be happy now knowing they loved me and gave me a wonderful home and family. I am her angel now watching over her and my family forever.
