Larson "Lars" Wortham
24 years old, full time college student (majoring in fine arts).
Lars lives and breathes art. He's been told his art is good, but his life is in disarray. Has a small apartment by himself with his pet. He's constantly dappled with one art medium or another. A bit quirky, whimsical, observant, sensitive, has a habit of being a little clingy and unwilling to let go of things. Very affectionate with things and people he likes.
Lars has Heterochromia Iridium, showing in his mismatched eye colors. As a result, he has hearing loss in his right ear matching with the blue eye. To compensate, he makes sure he is on the right side of a person so if they speak he can hear them with his left ear. When speaking face to face, he will have his head partly turned to the left. The hearing loss isn't something that depresses him, as he has lived with it all his life and can be successful even with the condition.

Larson grew up in a modest home and was taught that as long as they had each other they could be happy. He never had a television in his home, so he and his parents played games, played music, or made arts and crafts projects. Lars' parents Madeline and Raymond Wortham worked long hours to provide for their son, promising him he could do and be anything he wanted as long as he was happy. They nurtured his creativity and supported his decisions. Although they would have liked it if he became a doctor or a lawyer, they helped Lars sell pieces and earn money to be able to attend his dream university.
After gaining a sizable grant, Lars rented a small apartment near the campus where he rides his bike to and from school. His pet Beat, Dusty, is a small feline-esque, ferretlike creature that sits on his shoulder and sleeps on his face. Lars adopted Dusty after the critter showed up on his balcony with a present (bird). It was meant to be.
