The White Rabbit was always late to everything, hence he would usually have the worst of luck. for him, it was the day he was running through riverside Valley on his way to work at The Bakery when he ran right into The Cheshire Cat. Feeling a little peeved, Cheshire gave the White Rabbit two choices, he could either answer a riddle or give all his treasure to Cheshire. of course, being a proud rabbit, he refused the latter and wanted a riddle. Cheshire grew a smile as large as his face when Rabbit told him of his answer. Without any hesitation, Cheshire asked, "A farmer was going to town with a fox, a goose and a sack of corn. When he came to a stream, he had to cross in a tiny boat, and could only take across one thing at a time. However, if he left the fox alone with the goose, the fox would eat the goose, and if he left the goose alone with the corn, the goose would eat the corn. How does he get them all safely over the stream?" Rabbit was completely perplexed and could not answer. Cheshire's smile grew as he gave Rabbit another option."Be my friend and I will let you go. Once a month, you will meet me here and I will ask a riddle. If you answer correctly we will go our separate ways, but if you answer incorrectly you will have to remain my friend and do as I say." He told Rabbit. rabbit did not like this option at all though and in a huff he turned away before he replied. "And If I refuse?" Cheshire was still grinning a large smile as he sent forth a bubble of dark matter at Rabbit. Luckily Rabbit dodged in time, but not before part of his coat had become darkened. "If you refuse, I shall simply bug you until you agree." And with that Rabbit had no choice, but to become his friend.
