Shade is a researcher, of sorts. She travels the world, studing what other might call...evil. "Everything has a balance. If there is light, then there will always be shadow." "How about a room with nothing in it and one bright light." a challenge "Depends, if this is a normal light source, then the base would cast a small shadow and how do you know there is no shadows unless you are in there yourself and you would cast one."

Her studies have taught her much, but still she seeks more.

She works with ShadowWalker, Maire's (aka DMFox) personal body gaurd. She teachs him about the dark places of the world, so that he will always be ready to fight.
