Story

The sound of hooves thudding through snow was heard faintly through a thick snowstorm, as the blizzard took a turn for the worse. The temperature was constantly dropping throughout the night, and anything that the cruel hands of winter could touch was frozen and killed. So, why was a lonesome ram wandering in this terrible weather?

The small frail body of a young child lay motionless in the snow, his small lips blue as the sky. The ram saw this and trotted towards him, a sorrowful look on the ram's face. It stared at the child for a few minutes to see if he was still alive. No movement happened so the ram gathered it's strength and the lantern on it's horn lit up as the ram summoned a small ice demon to take the boy's soul to the afterlife.

After commanding the demon, the shaggy ram looked up and watched the clouds pass by. This was its last day of freedom for another year and the ram intended to save as many creatures as it could in the next few hours before the damned snow cursed and captured more lives.


Summary

Sonare is a lost soul of a ram, who had became victim to a very cold and harsh winter years ago. He had made a deal with the devil so he could protect those who wander in the dangerous night through the treacherous snow.

Now, during the winter months and snowstorms, he wanders freely but at any other time of the year, he is caged and can only dream of the freedom that lays waiting for him. During his freedom, he watches over all creatures and guides those who are lost back to safety by using a small lantern that is hangs on his right horn. He also protects the injured and sends the souls of the deceased to the 'afterlife'.
