Saguaren sat on her bed and wrote letters to her friends. She missed them terribly, but writing to them all once a week helped curb the loneliness of moving to a new place. She knew in time she'd make friends here, too. Everyone who knew her said "Oh that Saguaren, she's such a sweet girl, she gets along with everyone," and that much was certainly true.
"I miss you!" She wrote, beginning the next letter, "But I'm so happy here, too, wish you could visit sometime and see how wonderful it is!" And it was wonderful. It was warm, and bright, and the though it rained most nights every morning the sun would wake up and bring with it new green things growing from the ground.
"I know you're busy, but I just wanted to let you know I'll never forget you. Take care!" She signed off the last of her letters and started stuffing them in envelopes to mail all over the world. She had lots of friends in lots of places, and as long as that stayed true, she'd have friends no matter where she went. And she always would.
