Lucio is an international celebrity who inspires social change through his music and actions.
Lucio Correia dos Santos grew up in Rio de Janeiro in a poor and crowded town that was hit hard by the financial issues that followed the Omnic Crisis. As he and his country began the slow process of rebuilding itself, Lucio found himself desperately wanting to find a way to repair the homes of those around him, but their spirits as well. After struggling with this for a short while, he soon came to realize the answer had always been a part of him: music. With his talent, Lucio started small concerts, going from street corners to block parties - even orchestrating underground shows as he became more popular. His music not only lifted the spirits of his town, but brought them all closer together as well.
Things were looking up until a company known as the Vishkar Corporation somehow purchased a contract to Lucio's home town and immediately began to tear down homes deemed 'unfit' in order to rebuild the city. The town was told the Vishkar would make everything better, that they would improve their lives, and yet Lucio and his friends found themselves more miserable than ever before as the Corporation cracked down on the town with laws and curfews, even using the town's people as a form of cheap forced labor. Heavy chains were being wrapped around the town as the Vishkar became more and more involved with 'helping' them to be a so-called perfect society.
Finally, Lucio had enough. He struck out against the Vishkar, even managing to steal some of the technology that they had been using to supress the people, and used it to instead rally his neighbors to protest. With their technology used against them, the Vishkar was driven from the town, and Lucio became a name or rebellion, finding instant fame over night as he was now a symbol for positive social change. His music exploded into popularity and his small local shows grew into massive concerts that filled even the largest arenas as he went on world tours.
Lucio refuses to let his new found fame go to his head and uses his popularity instead to speak out against injustices like that of the Vishkar Corporation. He is using his fame to word hard on making a difference, hoping to change the world for the better.
