My name is Trott. Formally known as Visualizer Trott, though I don't go by that title so much anymore.
It's a little play on my magic of choice, and my old occupation of drawing blueprints and designs for a living. Clever, right?
..Yeah, not so much.

I live in a place called Timberline Falls, the most hospitable region of the Shiverpeaks, on a planet known as Tyria.

Let me paint a picture for you: sprawling pine forests, rivers snaking their way between snow-capped peaks and low-lying valleys, and tucked away in the thickest of the forests...my lab. Glowing in shades of blue and filling the dark forest with the hum of magitech, it's where I spent most of my life, after making one of the biggest mistakes of my life and resigning myself to near isolation.

After seven years of monotonous, empty living - if it could even be called living - the hours, days, months, years had begun to blur together. What happened in autumn of the seventh year can only be described in something that will resemble a cliche;

A chance encounter with a rather unusual human would see my life quite literally turned around and upside down.

In the span of a few years, I've done more than I had ever done in the thirty three years prior. Near-death experiences, earning a krewe of my very own, becoming an adoptive uncle and mentor for two adorable progeny, reconciling with my brother and long-lost father.. I even earned a pair of shining golden wings, though they cannot be used for flight.

My name is Trott, and this is my story.
