Sometimes, hidden inside a lilac bush, or just out of view in a clump of tall grass, you may spy a tiny creature named Oblata. You'll never see her in full view, but she'll see you. She might even take a liking to you, if you sit gently and quietly and don't make any sudden moves. She's well known to all the animals of the forest and field, and while none of them have seen anything more than her big, curious eyes, they know her to be kind and helpful.
Seeing her is considered by many to be a good luck charm, especially if she grows fond of you. Sometimes she'll leave small gifts for those who visit her area of the wilds, like a crown made of daisies, or a fruit preserved in honey. Those who accept her gifts often find themselves more welcome by the nature surrounding them. Tree roots are less likely to trip them, brambles are less likely to snare their clothes. Maybe it's just superstition, but no one has eve been willing to put that to the test.
I hope one day you get a glimpse of Oblata too. If you're quiet, and careful, and treat the earth around you with respect maybe she'll even grant you a gift. You probably won't see much of her, she really is quite good at hiding, but don't worry, she'll see you.
