Somewhere in Dreamland tonight...
The sun slipped down beneath the waves,
And with it went it's light.
The vibrant colors of the day,
Gave way to darkened night.
And as the moon began it's climb,
To take her rightful place.
A beauty with a cosmic glow,
Came forth with gleaming vase.
The sky an empty vacant void,
Housing nothing but the moon.
With a tip of her hand would cease to be,
And fill up very soon.
From the vase a million stars,
a billion little lights.
Rushed forth to fill the sky,
And brighten up the night.
And once the stars were free again,
To frolic, run and play.
The woman smiles serenely,
And puts her vase away.
Thru the sky they travel,
Leaving brilliant streaking beams.
To lead lost sailors home again,
And grant the children dreams.
But once the night begins to wane,
And the day begins to yearn.
She'll summon back her twinkling lights,
Until the night's return.
And to her they'll go running,
Lights both near and far.
For she is known as Viscid,
Keeper of Dreams and Stars.
