Spice

The smell of herbs and refined extracts wafted from the restaurant where Spice worked tirelessly to create the most exquisite dishes in all of Subeta. He worked with a smile on his face and a pun on his lips. His sous chef groaned at every joke.

"What's the matter, Mentha? I'm just trying to spice things up," he said.
"There's always thyme for a good pun! Don't harsh my chives," he continued.

Mentha found him amusing, but would never admit it; she didn't want to encourage him too much.

Customers, on the other hand, loved the way Spice effortlessly sprinkled his wit into every conversation.

"Cumin and welcome!" He'd greet the crowds. The joke always fostered a laugh, or at least a small smile from the guests.

"I think our patrons are quite content with our latest creations, Mentha! They seem to be in a curry to try them!" He mentioned, gesturing in the direction of the specials board.

Apple of my pie:
Grandma Spice's recipe. A nine-inch, gooey cinnamon and apple pie with a glaze on top. May be served by the slice. A la mode available upon request.

Thanks a latte:
Espresso topped with foamy milk and whipped cream—heaven in a cup. Milk substitutions available include soy, almond, oat, and coconut.
