Down in the Underground

Through dangers untold,
and hardships outnumbered,
I have fought my way here to the castle beyond the goblin city.
For my will is as strong as yours,
and my kingdom is a great.

Once upon a time there was a King.

This was no ordinary King. He was a King of Goblins. Snot nosed, messy, conniving goblins. As a banished fae, its what he felt like he fit in best. For where he was originally from, which he refuses to speak of, were not fond of trickery and rude behavior. He excelled in this. Better at it then the goblins themselves.

Which is why they made him their king.

One day, on his usual treks out above as an owl, he came across a voice. He knew his life had been written into books as a "fairy tale" Like much of his world. This voice was citing words from his book. Flying down he landed on a stone pillar. A girl in a white dress runs up to him. Staring him dead in the eye she speaks to him. "Please, give me back the child." He tilts his head to the side. She surely couldn't see throug his disguise. Moments pass and he realizes she is roleplaying. As he listens to her, his heart begins to flutter. She seems so passionate about his story. Jareth smiles inside, wondering how she would react if he showed his true self.
