Monstrous Myth?

Tucked away, deep in the Alps lives a curious little critter named Tatzelwurm. That's not his actual name, of course, but merely what his kind are called. Other words for his kind include Stollwurm or Stollenwurm. We'll just call this little guy "Tatze" for simplicity's sake.

Tatze isn't sure what happened to the rest of his family. As far back as he can remember, he's always been alone. And that's perfectly okay! He's only about three feet long, but eventually, he'll be twice that length and need all the room he can find.

Stories from across the centuries claim that the Tatzelwurm has either poisonous breath, toxic blood, or a venomous bite. Tatze isn't so certain about any of those claims, though! He's just a little guy, only able to take down smaller prey. He's been very fortunate to not have run across any mean people that may want to hurt him.

Tatze is a cryptid, and may not even actually exist. Don't tell him that, though; you'll just break his little heart.
