Lan was a cronically online creature, he never left home, finding solace in the tranquility of being on his computer gaming and programming. However, that did not mean he was devoid of connections. He cherished the bonds he had formed with a select few, his loyal guild of friends who shared his passion for online shenanigans.

His life was not always like this. He had a life on the Outside. But being out there was never good for Lan, every time he left his home tragedy would befall him and anyone around him. Maybe he was unlucky, maybe he was cursed. But it didn’t matter. Lan was happy.

After seven years inside, living on delivery services and working online as a programmer, Lan got comfortable with his lifestyle. But for the first time, tragedy followed him inside. On an otherwise calm rainy day, during Lan’s daily online grind, a flood ruined his house, and most importantly, his computer.

For the first time in seven years. Lan had to leave his house, and tragedy sure would follow him.

Not soon after going outside, planning on finding any useable PC to rebuild his life quickly, Lan got face to face with a witch.

“Sleep now, child. Cast away your soul and lend me your flesh.”

Lan wakes up. Not on the comfort of his house, but feeling peaceful, more alive than ever. He was not on his house, but he was home, he was online.

In the vast expanse of the digital world, there existed a unique creature named Lan Joshua. Unlike the physical beings that roamed the Earth, Lan Joshua was a digital entity, residing solely within the realms of the internet. He spent his days immersed in virtual landscapes, exploring, playing games, chatting, and delving into the depths of complex coding.

His guild didn’t notice the change. He was present as usual. Programming all day, raiding and grinding all night, and trying to find who cursed him and stole his body in between.

Over time Lan trusted a few of his friends to share the truth of his digital condition. Among his companions was Jason, a friend that had profound knowledge on curses, besides being a great buffer in their game. Jason had his own curse to deal with, but decided to help Joshua as much as he could. Guildies look out for each other.

As their adventures continued, Lan Joshua's skills in hacking and programming proved to be invaluable to his group. He became known as the go-to expert for any technical obstacles they faced. With his quick thinking and mastery of the digital realm, he effortlessly bypassed security systems and cleared paths for his friends.

Even though Lan Joshua was a creature of the digital world, he never hesitated to lend a helping hand to his friends in need. He understood the importance of their bond and the strength they derived from it. They were not just pixels on a screen; they were a family bound by shared experiences.

And so, Lan Joshua, the quiet and skilled digital creature, continued to explore, play games, and help his friends, thriving in the digital realm that he called home. His journey was a testament to the power of unity, and the indomitable spirit that could transcend even the boundaries of the digital world.

He would stay calm in the face of danger. And some day he will find who took his body.
