Gula is a being of unending hunger, capable of consuming just about anything and never running out of room in its stomach for more. Its maw can gape wide to swallow whole larger objects, or it can bite through most materials with its crushing jaws and rows of sharp teeth. Its body drips tar-like goo, and seems to be made of the stuff, allowing it to change shape to an extent and break down whatever it eats. Gula does have some self-control and self-awareness, however, so it does not need to be constantly eating; it probably could last quite a while on its stored energy reserves even if it was starved for an extended period. It just prefers to be eating whenever possible, and it isn't picky about what it eats, especially if a potential morsel tries its patience.
