Keahi was born on the islands as an only child to his young parents. His parents were a very happy and relaxed couple. They owned a little house on the beach and a restaurant in the town just nearby. Starting at a very young age, his father taught him to surf, and his mother taught him to cook. He became pretty adept at both and even helped his parents out in their restaurant.

He went to a small local school for most of his life, and though he learned fairly quick just as he always had, Keahi was not much interested in school. He wanted a small comfortable life like his parents had. Still, his parents wanted better for him, as many do. After high school, they sent him to the mainland where he would recieve a much better education.

Keahi began school not really knowing what he wanted to study. He spends most of his time at the beach with his friends, eating, drinking, surfing, and generally having a good time. But he is also very responsible. He has a job as a construction worker, but also takes any other odd jobs he can find on the side so that he can pay for his own education as much as possible.

Twice a year he returns to the islands to visit his parents, but otherwise his life is now in Centropolis. About a year after he arrived on the mainland, Keahi met Kiev, a reserved and rather introverted young man who seemed as if he spent the majority of his life indoors. After talking for a while, Keahi offered to teach him how to surf and Kiev, even knowing that he couldn't swim, agreed for some reason.

Keahi saved the other boy's life when he almost drowned and made sure to take care of him after he ws sent home from the hospital. The two became friends, then roommates, and soon Keahi found himself rather attracted to his timid partner in crime. It turned out that Kiev was beginning to feel the same way and so they started dating. A year has passed since then and they are happily engaged. Although there are no current plans for the wedding, Keahi couldn't be more ecstatic about the whole thing.

Attire: usually he can be found shirtless, since he is out either surfing, or working on construction sites. most often he is wearing shorts or swim trunks, maybe a tank top or a t-shirt if he feels like it. VERY rarely does he dress up or get into much dressier clothing than that. his explanation is that he has no need to wear fancy clothes, but really he just feels out of place in them.
