"All this snow," the Kanis said, shaking his head. "Whatever am I going to do with it? Even if I am near the Arctic Frost, there shouldn't be this much snow." Snowblower sighed and looked about him. The snow was piled up high, nearly reaching his neck. Small icy snowflakes glittered in the shafts of light that managed to pierce through the grey sky. Every so often, the sun would come out from behind the clouds and would reflect off the top of the snow, blinding all nearby with its brilliant white. Almost, the snow appeared as a blanket of white over the landscape, keeping all things preserved in a state of perfect clean. Looking at the snow however, only reminded Snowblower of the work he'd have to do to clean it off. It wasn't that Snowblower didn't enjoy snow; he did and he could hardly imagine living where it didn't snow. He knew he could never be happy living in the perpetual summers of Delphi Beach or the weather-less Ziara City. Still, he found every excuse to complain about the snow when it fell, since he knew it'd be his job to clean it all off. Not just because snow was dangerous - and it was, since any young pet could slip and fall - but because there was something invigorating about blowing aside the snow to reveal tender young grass shoots braving against the cold. Snowblower chuckled quietly, one of the few times when such mirth seemed to cross his lips. He remembered his days as a young Kanis, when he lived far from the snowy mountains and had not been turned Glacier yet. His friends used to tease him that he'd never find any snow to blow and even if he could, his fur would certainly not be thick enough to keep him warm. How ironic it was then, that he did indeed move near the Arctic Frost where one of his regular chores was keeping the snow of the grass. It was the second part that really made Snowblower laugh, though. His fur not only kept him warm, but had icicles gently swaying in the wind, and he felt no cold whatsoever. Moving houses and changing Glacier weren't the only things about Snowblower that had changed however. His demeanor had become icier and colder as he grew up; never mean, or rude, but distant and separate, though no one really knew how that happened...#pet_image {background-image: url(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v189/neofreak4u/34dld03_zps66b8f5a2.gif);width: 200px;height: 220px;}
