Moki had a rather plain and simple child, at least in his eyes. His father was the owner of a large business company, and Moki and his family would often travel, from state to state. Although most would think it was hard on Moki, and his older siblings to travel from place to place in such a short time. It never bothered Moki, he loved moving, going to new places it was always a big adventure for him. He loved exploring and collecting little trinkets from each town he lived in. He had quite the imagination and creative mind, coming up with new games to play during the long road trips. He was always a happy and easy-going child growing up, so it was always fairly simple for him to make new friends wherever he went. One thing he remembers most from his childhood, was visiting the local candy shops, he loved seeing the different designs and candies in each store. It was always different, and beautiful in their own unique way. When Moki turned six he'd often tell his mother and father, that when he was old enough he wanted to open up his own candy store.
Despite the families wealth his father always taught him that he had to work hard reach his goals. One of his first jobs was being a paperboy, and every month when he'd get money he'd save it in a little jar. Slowly saving up money so one day he could own his own shop.Moki worked in many various jobs, he always worked hard and helped others follow their dreams as well. After spending years saving at the age of twenty-one he opened up his Candy Shop.
It was everything he hoped it to be, he put a lot of time and effort into the shop. Always changing the theme of the shop, so every time people would walk in they'd see something new. He loves entertaining and making things fun for both children and adults, it's a nice change to see grown-ups bring out their inner child as they explore his candy shop. "Sweet as Sugar" quickly became very well known, one of the most popular themes is when he holds the 'Gingerbread House' During the Christmas holiday, using the upper level of the shop making a giant gingerbread house, inside families could make their very own gingerbread men and houses, using an endlessly supply of whatever candies the customers desire.
He tries his best to mingle with the guest, make them feel safe and welcome. One of his most popular guests was a young feline named Tarient, the young man was one of the first customers to visit his shop. It was clear that he had quite the sweet tooth, but he always was good company making him laugh and sharing his own unique ideas, quite a few Moki uses in his shop now.
When of the most treasured memories Moki had when he first moved to this city, was how he came across a Candy Kitten, laying in the alleyway one winter night. Spending a few long weeks nursing the kitten back to health he grew quite a close bond with the tiny kitten, and soon named her Taffy.Taffy is often found laying by the window sill at the entrance of the shop, or hiding from the newest member of their little family, a tiny chubby kitten named Peppermint.
Another memory Moki will always hold dear was the day he meet Gwynevere, a beautiful glacier popoko. He first met Gwyn when he dropped into her cage one afternoon, he still remembers the day so clearing, ordering a few sweets and sharing some Paper mint hot chocolate with her. She was so kind and beautiful, the two slowly spent more and more time together.Even though Moki has traveled to many new places, he'd never felt like this before. But he knew he was in love, and he'd always care deeply about her.Despite some of the ups and downs that will come and go Moki known that he wants to spend the rest of his life with her. Spending each day finding out new things about her. One thing is for sure he'll never leave her side. No matter what.
