Billions of light years away from the world of Subeta lies the world of Darma. It is a world filled with creatures much like those of Subeta only different. They live and feed off of an essence known as Dark Matter. It is found deep within the planet's core. A magical well was built to access the Dark Matter and also to contain it.

After years of inhabitants using the essence they became addicted to it, so much so that many started to change. Soon a war broke out over the essence and the well was destroyed .Much of the Dark Matter was lost. Well, not entirely. You see, Dark Matter has a mind of it's own. When it was no longer contained it flew into the galaxy and found other planets to inhabit. One of those planets is Subeta.

Years went by after the well was destroyed and many died because the essence was gone. However, there were a few who managed to live without it, until now. The world is slowly dying. Not just the inhabitants but the world itself. There's no telling how long Darma will survive without the Dark Matter.

Those who survived the war must now search the galaxy for any remaining essence. One such survivor is Purrdita. She has been on Subeta for a while now and has found that much of the essence is here. Turns out it has attached itself to many objects which she will have to take with her in order to return the essence to her planet.
