Heiwa's Tale

'Twas a dark and stormy night, perfect conditions for taking a walk with Yami Tsubasa. ^_^ You see, Yami was showing me where his old home used to be, since I found him in the same woods we were in right then. And then, just as we were in the doorway, I saw two eyes staring at us from in the shadows. I told Yami, and we started to walk towards it, curious to find out what it was. Just as we got almost close enough to see it, the thing darted in to Yami's old home, which was a bit of a distance away. Out of breath, we finally made it there.
"Now who the heck are you?!" Yami demanded.
"Hmmph! Maybe I'm the one to be asking you that question! What are you even doing in my home?! I demand an explanation!"
"Your home? How do you think this house got here in the first place?! Do you think it just magically appeared out of nowhere?! I lived here! This is where I grew up!" Yami definitely sounded angry. But before I could tell them to stop fighting, Heiwa was already replying with a sharp comeback.
"You built this place? As if! Someone as dumb as you probably can't even build a house of legos!"
"Well then, how do you think this place got here then?" said Yami, sounding more impatient than I ever seen him before.
"Well, maybe someone smarter than you built this place a while ago!" remarked Heiwa sarcastically.
"GUYS! STOP THE FIGHTING! Listen, Yami, it is true that you used to live here, but its also true that you moved away. Don't you think its possible that someone in need of shelter might have come here?" I explained.
"Well, umm... I guess that it's possible..."
And umm... What's your name?"
"Heiwa," came the Demi's flat reply.
"Heiwa, don't insult people. It can damage your reputation, not to mention that it shows you have a crush on him," I replied with a grin on my face.
"How did you know?!" replied Heiwa, sounding very embarrassed.
"I saw you when I adopted Yami. You were the one who made that strange sound I heard in the first place, weren't you?"
"Y-yes, I was... Heh, heh. ^_^;" said the Demi.
Yami was silent the entire time, looking confused.
"Wait a minute, I remember you. You were the Demi that I saw a few years ago, weren't you? The one with that beautiful black dress?"
"You still remember that? That was what, like ten years ago?" replied Heiwa.
"Yeah, I remember. Probably because you looked so beautiful," said Yami, with a smile on his face that I never thought I'd see before.
Now they were both blushing and grinning.
"Say, Heiwa, do you have an owner? We'd be happy to have you with us. Right Yami?" I broke in.
"Sure, it would be nice for you to come with us," said Yami, still grinning.
"I'd love to!" replied Heiwa.
And so, even after all that's happened between them, if you ask them if they have feelings for each other, they'll refuse to say that they do. Even so, they are pretty cute together, don't you think? :)
