Minion: Art has lived for many centuries, and yet he is human, how does he do this? Through Flavius. Flavius is more than a simple minion, he is a god of Prophecy. A mythical and holy being, Flavius predicts many possible futures and attempts to help the human race by pushing events towards a future which would best suite the entire world. Sometimes his pushes aren't effective, and massive disasters occur, and other times he purposely steers humanity towards destruction. Flavius rarely explains himself for in his mind, he doesn't need to. Art usually figures its because humanity had been doing something wrong and that it was a warning or the actual aftermath of a warning unheeded.

Flavius and Art met on a night which changed Art's entire life, the night when his family was massacred. Not only did Art receive horrible injuries, he lost his two sons, three daughters and his wife. He begged Flavius to explain why he saved Art and not his family, but Flavius refused, and to this day still hasn't told him why. In determination Art followed the god, since finding out why he was spared was the only purpose he had left in life now. Even though Flavius refused to speak to Art or even acknowledge him, Art still persisted. He finally stopped when the death of his loved ones finally sunk in, he mourned them for a few months, eating hardly anything, and almost losing his will to live. He had expected the god to move on while he went through this suffering, but the god strangely remained by him. Never speaking, just waiting and occasionally bringing him food when Art forgot to eat.

After that Art began to soften to the strange god, now appreciating his silent company rather than being aggravated over being ignored. He traveled for years with Flavius until he realized he either was aging well with no grey hair or wrinkles, or the god was somehow extending his life. He asked the god about it, not expecting an answer, but got one. Flavius told him he was extending his life because Art had yet to do what Flavius wished for him to do in the world, and it needed to be done. To this Art expected a hint or any notion towards what he was supposed to do, but got no reply. Art still doesn't know what the god wants from him, he only continues to study History, as he did in his life with his family, and has enjoyed watching the world evolve around him with Flavius.
