Hey there, reader, you have happened to stumble upon my food blog. It's your lucky day it seems! Find out all the hot spots for good grub, with me, Dalten. If your stomach is a never-ending growler like mine, you can easily make your way through all the food in town. Down below I've listed the best restaurants, bakeries, markets, etc.

Food Recommendations

The Cracked Egg

Benji owns my favorite restaurant, when it comes to breakfast food, The Cracked Egg! All the egg-based dishes you could possibly want! At this point I believe I've eaten everything on the menu.

If it's your first time going, I would highly recommend the Local Sausage and Cheddar Quiche, or some Poached Egg Avocado Toast. Get a coffee while you're there, with whipped cream. Made in-house.

Golden Chocolate

Now, you know that I love chocolate. But my taste buds had never been graced with chocolate quite like this. This family-owned business is run by chocolatiers Rufus, and his son, Declan.

You have to try the hot chocolate. Their Smores Hot Chocolate is particularly heavenly. Puffy marshmallows, melted chocolate drizzled over, with graham cracker crumbs sprinkled on top.

Piping Hot Pizza

I've got pizza love! Glenn's pizzeria is the place to hit when you have a pizza craving. Which is all the time for me. I can't tell you the number of times I've scorched my mouth on this pizza. It's so good, I couldn't possibly wait for it to cool before eating.

Make sure to try one of their Wood-Fired Pizza Slices while you're there! For those feeling brave, go for a slice of their signature Hot-as-Lava Pizza.

With Love Bakery

All the chocolate used in this bakery is supplied by Golden Chocolate, so you know it's going to hit the spot. I wish my mom's cookies were as Mariska's. No offense, mom.

As for what you should eat when you go there, I highly recommend the Apple Cider Doughnut or a slice of her Vegan Carrot Cake.

Rian's Farm Stand

Have you been eating too much fast food lately? Do you perhaps prefer fruits and vegetables? If you answered "yes" to either of those questions, Rian's farm stand is the place for you!

Open Wednesday through Sunday, 10 AM to 7 PM.

If you're there on the weekend, you'll probably see Rian's partner, River, helping out and giving little skateboarding lessons to the kids. It's a cute sight.

"Dalten has a hunger for life!" some people say. But really, I'm just hungry. Always. My mom told me that straight out of the womb she was constantly needing to nurse me. You could say I have a healthy appetite. Well, I do, an insatiable one! But is it healthy when your stomach is a bottomless pit? When you go on a picnic with your friends and you've accidentally eaten all the sandwiches while everyone else was still passing out the plates and napkins? What?! Did I just say that? Anyways, I don't let it get to me. Because of this hunger leading me to wherever I could get food, I have eaten a wide assortment of food. Now I'm letting you in on the best of the best!
