Hi, I'm Birthdays and who seriously doesn't like a birthday?! I was born on the very first day of the new year, January 1st, just like my owner Ellie. Mind you, we're twenty-four years a part, but we have a special bond because we were both born on the same day. She even broke out some of that birthday money to buy an Angelic Potion to use on me. I had to be just a spiffy as she is, although she's far from an angel!

Birthdays in general rock. If you're young, you want them to come to make you older. If you're already older, you're happy to be alive. The main reasons I love birthdays so much are the parties, cake, wishes, and presents!

Any party is always nice excuse to let loose! You get to have family and friends hang out with you and get to be the center of attention for one whole day! I can see where some shy pets wouldn't like that, but any party is great! Balloons! Party Hats! Streamers! Music! Dancing! Ellie and I have a fondness for balloons. She's always liked them and for any holiday, but especially her birthday. They're fun and cheerful little additions, if I do say so myself!

Next, you get a cake! I mean, I have sisters named Cakes and Baking, so that should tell you how much value cake has in our neck of the woods! Ellie and I love all different types of cakes, but our fave is a simple yellow cake with chocolate buttercream icing. We do like candles and decorations on the cake, though! It's a must to blow out your candles and make a wish. I've even had one or two come true.

Presents are the absolute best! People take the time to think about something you'd really want, that means they love you enough to take the time out of their day to focus on you! Then, as a plus, you get all these different kinds of really pretty wrapping paper, bags, and bows! As a girlie girl, I just adore seeing the pretty packages!
